This video is an opening title for the Electric Forest music and arts festival. I chose this festival because it is near and dear to my heart, encompassing all the things I love in a beautiful and magical place. They have music, all different types of arts, amazing food, fun installations to explore, ways to give back, and amazing people and energy. Unfortunately, this festival was postponed that year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I used footage and typography to create this piece. I used a kaleidoscope effect along with overlaying footage to create a psychedelic atmosphere. I also used typography to showcase some of the important information about the festival as well as some of the musical artists that were to perform in the 2020 year of the festival.
